Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, fill out a form, respond to a survey, subscribe to the newsletter and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Non-personal identification information
We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.
Refunds and Cancellations
All fees for workshops and conferences are non-refundable.
Refunds are not granted due a change of mind, pre-existing illnesses or sickness such as influenza, COVID-19 etc.
This is due to the society being a non-profit organization which is run purely on a volunteer basis, the many hours of preparation time, organizing catering which is paid for in advance and all other administration activities that are still required for workshops, scientific talks and conferences to be held.
Only in extreme circumstances that a refund request can be made. An email addressed to the Secretary of the Histotechnology Society of NSW accompanying evidence and documentation of reason for refund. This request will be discussed by the executive committee and is at the discretion of the committee whether a refund is granted or not. Notification will be given once the decision has been made.

If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list or purchases a membership ticket, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, Users may contact us via our Site.
